St. Thomas Higher Secondary School, Ratanpurwa was established by Fr. Joy on 22nd Feb, 1995 at that time the name of the school was Khrist Raja Vidhyalay addressing the issue of education among the bonded labours as education is the key to eradicate such draconian laws. Initially children were coming for villages till class 2nd and the school was teaching 200 students. Slowly the awareness regarding the education among such communities increased as a result we observed the huge increase in the number of students in our school.
